Flavours of the Foothills in Southern AlbertaWe are a group of people who are excited about where we live and what we do. We invite you to come and experience all the wonderful things that the Foothills of Southern Alberta has to offer.

Local:  Flavours of the Foothills members are all within 45 minutes drive of south Calgary. These businesses are owned by individual families who are committed to their vision of a vibrant, exciting community.

Feast:  Plan a day trip or visit and you will have a rich personal experience you can’t get at a chain or a box store.

Body:  Feed your body with healthy local food; beef from Highwood Valley Ranch, turkey from Winter’s Turkeys, bison or elk from Canadian Rocky Mountain Ranch, blackcurrant products from Kayben Farms, honey, bee products and mead from Chinook Honey Company, artisan soups and ice cream from Route 40 Soup Company. Mind:  Learn about bees at the honey bee interpretive centre at Chinook Honey Company. Take a class about plants and landscaping at Kayben Farms.
