Winter's Turkeys has been raising free range turkeys on our Alberta farm since 1958 spanning four generations. Our turkeys enjoy the sunshine and fresh air with unrestricted access to the outdoors. Their diet is largely whole grain and is supplemented with organic forage. Our birds are grown to 17-19 pounds to ensure an excellent finish producing a naturally self-basting turkey with a delicious flavour. We expanded our production in 2000 to include certified organic turkeys.
Our birds are grown in a humane manner with total consideration for their comfort and well being. Fresh turkeys are available at Thanksgiving and Christmas and frozen year round. In addition, Winter's Turkeys offers many products made from 100% tgurkey, including roasts, filets, smoked and ground turkey, smokies, luncheon meats and jerky. All products are gluten, dairy and nitrate free and made with no added MSG.
